Posted by: Jessi S at Feb 12 The Campaign was responsible for the Hillary sheets. Not the Young Democrats. Flag Abuse
Posted by: Kyle Minor at Feb 9 It's pretty arrogant, Kimay, to assert that the fact that Americans need jobs implies directly that the government should prohibit companies from moving overseas. The fact is, nobody is ENTITLED to a job. I grow weary of listening to people clamor about what government can do for them - take a page out of John Kennedy's speech book and recall his famous words: "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." Posted by: Richard at Feb 9 I like it how when you went to go into War, you had (meaning mandatory) fill out a sheet saying you will support and vote for Hillary. Yea, go Virginia Tech Young Democrats not sponsoring a candidate /sarcasm. Flag Abuse
Posted by: at Feb 9 Clinton...hmmm, putting him in one of our lower end facilities sounds good to me. Flag Abuse
Posted by: at Feb 9 So is a line just going to form at the doors to the gym or something? Flag Abuse
Posted by: kimay at Feb 9 No one is going to have a job if we continue to allow them to go overseas. i think Hillary can make a change here! Flag Abuse
Posted by: Jason T at Feb 9 I love all the comments about the logistics of the event. Did anyone ever stop to think that there are most likely legitimate reasons why War Memorial is the best option available? Flag Abuse
Posted by: Suzanne at Feb 9 Why in the world are they having this in War? I'm pretty sure Bill could handle Burruss... Flag Abuse
Posted by: at Feb 9 save the political debate for somewhere else. i also like turtles. Flag Abuse
Posted by: at Feb 9 To Kimay ... you must be kidding! Flag Abuse
Posted by: at Feb 9 Maybe he will be bring Monia along, don't you know what a trade off they made??????" Tit" for "That" Flag Abuse
Posted by: Kyle Minor at Feb 9 " . . . So that we all have jobs in the near future." Is that what you really believe the government is there to do, Kimay? Provide for you a job? The reason why so many businesses are moving their production overseas is because of overtaxation and because the workers in other countries generally will work for less money and benefits than the workers in the US. Please explain to me how, exactly, the federal government can control that (aside, of course, from lowering business taxes, which Democrats are generally reluctant to do). John Kennedy said it best when he said 'Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." It's time that we all stop voting based on what a given politician will 'give' to us, and vote instead on the major issues shaping our society. Flag Abuse
Posted by: Kimay at Feb 9 Hillary Clinton will make an excellent president. I think she is the best choice so that we all have jobs in the near future. Flag Abuse
Posted by: at Feb 9 Why would they choose that for a location? A)not many people can go, B) war memorial is a old facility and makes VT look run-down Flag Abuse
Posted by: Turtle Man at Feb 9 I like turtles Flag Abuse
Posted by: chad at Feb 8 freddddddddddyyyyy!!!! my man!!! OBAMA 08!!! BARACK THE VOTE! Flag Abuse
Posted by: fredy h at Feb 8 I won't come. NOT INTERESTED ! Who wanna see another Clinton at the White House ??? Everybody knows she just wanna take a revenge to Bill C. as the result of the tragedy in the Oval Office in 1990s. The plot would only be : to take a male intern in her oval office,'n let history repeats over and over again. Then, she would resign afterwards. It would simply be pretty similar to "Kill Bill" Flag Abuse
