The jury returned on Friday to deliberate a recommended sentence for former Virginia Tech student Natalie Keepers, who was found guilty of accessory before the fact of first-degree murder in the death of 13-year-old Nicole Lovell.

The Virginia Tech Police Department issued a crime alert at 4:01 p.m. on Sept. 20 about two reports of trespassing and one report of burglary that took place on the evening of Sept. 19. Both occurred between 6 and 8:30 p.m., according to the alert.
