Hokie Effect T-shirt sales break records

This year Virginia Tech Student Government Association shattered all previous record sales for Hokie Effect shirts with 95,000 shirts sold. Last year, the SGA sold 76,000 shirts.

Center for Civil War Studies garners grant

On Oct. 12, The Virginia Center for Civil War Studies (VCCWS) received a $350,000 grant from the Virginia Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War Commission to produce a one-of-a-kind three hour documentary on the Civil War.
