I never did journalism in high school, nor did I have any intention of doing so in college. I originally applied to the CT on a whim as an assistant photo editor. That position, however, was already filled, so I was swindled into becoming a multimedia reporter.  Then I started writing music and movie columns. After a strange and unlikely series of events , I became managing editor of editorial.

Then I was the editor-in-chief from summer 2010 to May 2011, and it was the defining experience of college. Moral of the story: Work because no matter your interests and future aspirations, the CT can give you something to take interest and pride in.

Position: former editor-in-chief
