This morning at 9:30 a.m., Blacksburg Police responded to a report of sexual assault in the 1000 block of University City Boulevard.
Adam Wayne Webb, 25, of Blacksburg has been charged with sexual battery. He is scheduled to appear in Blacksburg General District court on Aug. 11 for an arraignment at 8:30 a.m. He is currently being held on a $5,000 bond.
Police investigation revealed that the victim and suspect had been living together for roughly two weeks. The victim disclosed the fact that their relationship started over the Internet.
