There are many things wrong in the athletics department at Virginia Tech involving students, but I do not have time to write five pages.
The way student season tickets were given out this year is a disgrace, which many people have already pointed out, so I will not keep preaching to that issue.
For those of you who did receive season tickets, I better see Cassell packed in the student section every single game whether we are playing Elon on Nov. 26 or Duke on Feb. 28. There are a lot of students who have been going to every single game, such as myself, for the last three or four years who were not able to get tickets. I know how upset they are because if I were in their situation, I would be even more upset.
Over the past four years we have turned Cassell into a great home court. Our students are passionate about the game, which has had a trickle-down effect from our players and Coach Seth Greenberg. Anybody who was at the NIT games last year in Cassell knows exactly what I am talking about.
The atmosphere of those three games was unlike anything I have ever seen before.
I will say it one more time: if you were lucky enough to receive season tickets, make sure that you use them. If you can't use them, let someone else use them because there are plenty of people out there who wish they were in your position.

Great editorial! I agree 100% and I am sure the CT does too.
