No. 3 North Carolina 18-2 (4-2) at North Carolina State 11-7 (2-4)

Saturday at 3:30 p.m., ABC

Losses to Boston College and Wake Forest in consecutive weeks didn't derail the Tar Heels -- winners of four straight conference games. Ty Lawson's 15 points and six assists per game average have kept the Heels above all the rest. Without a foul-plagued Tyler Hansborough, Lawson led North Carolina with 21 points and nine rebounds as they took down a solid Seminole team at Florida State. The Wolfpack have dropped five of their last seven games and have fallen to 10th in the league. NC State looks to play spoiler with Brandon Costner leading the way with 14.5 points per game.

No. 4 Wake Forest 17-1 (4-1) at Georgia Tech  9-10 (0-6)
Saturday at Noon

After handing the Duke Blue Devils their second loss of the season and first ACC defeat, the Demon Deacons travel to Atlanta to face the slumping Yellow Jackets, who have lost their last five ACC match ups. The tandem in the frontcourt of Al-Faroug Aminu and James Johnson hopes to repeat their double-double performances from Wednesday's showdown. Georgia Tech's Gani Lawal, who averages a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds per game, and Alade Aminu will be handed the job of slowing down Wake Forest's powerful duo. With what should be a strong battle in the post, Demon Deacon guard Jeff Teague will prove to be the X-factor with his 20 points and 2.2 steals per game.

Miami 14-6 (3-4) at Maryland 13-7 (2-4)
Saturday at 8:00 p.m.

In the most interesting match of the weekend, both teams come into this duel riding two-game losing streaks. Miami is two straight overtime losses away from being 5-2 in the ACC, while Maryland was embarrassed by Duke and beaten by Boston College in the span of four days. Another loss could kill the hopes for either team of making the NCAA Tournament, while a win could put either team back on track. Greivis Vasquez rebounded from a dismal four-point performance at Durham by scoring 18 against the Eagles. If he can regain control of his team, the Terrapins have the upper hand in this game. However, if Jack McClinton continues his dominance of ACC defenses, putting up 18.4 per game, the depth of "The U" could combine to spell trouble for the Terps.

Virginia 7-9 (1-4) at No. 1 Duke 18-2 (5-1)
Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

The Cavaliers limp into Durham coming off four straight losses. With the season all but over, Virginia has one thing on their side -- pride.  Coming off an emotional loss to Wake Forest, some might think a game against a "push-over" would be a good thing. But Duke's poor shooting performance against the Demon Deacons, in which they shot 33 percent from the field and 18.2 percent from beyond the arc, could carry over into a game against the 11th place team in the ACC. If the Blue Devils are still cold from the field, the Cavs could pull an upset on Sunday with freshman guard Sylven Landesberg leading the way with 15 points per game.
