The case regarding lawsuits filed by two April 16 victims will be moved to Montgomery County.
A judge motioned Thursday that the case be transferred from Fairfax to Montgomery County, a more convenient location for individuals involved, said the Associated Press.
The families of Julia Pryde and Erin Peterson filed lawsuits against the state and various university and mental health officials on April 16, 2009. Each family is seeking $10 million in damages.
The lawsuit names eight university officials as defendants, including President Charles Steger, former Executive Vice President James Hyatt, Provost Mark McNamee and Vice President for University Relations Larry Hincker.
Virginia Tech Police Chief Wendell Flinchum, five employees of the Cook Counseling Center and two members of the New River Valley Community Services Board are also named as defendants.

Good. I am glad to see two families taking the charge here to ensure that the truth of this matter, the many slip-ups and mistakes made by administrators before and during April 16th are aired to the world.

They should definitely sue all the mental health workers who saw him. Everybody knows they have the ability to predict the future and are responsible for all the crimes of their patients.
