Virginia Tech Police have filed charges in an August case of indecent exposure in West Ambler Johnston Hall.
Police charged 31-year-old Joel Michael Wooldrige of Monroe, Va. with one count of peeping into a dwelling or enclosure and one count of obscene sexual display. Both charges are considered class 1 misdemeanors.
The charges stem from late-August reports of a male in the residence hall exposing himself and engaging in sexual acts in public. Witnesses also reported that the man had entered a women’s bathroom and attempted to observe women in shower stalls.
An investigation of the case later identified Wooldrige as the suspect in the incidents, noting he had been employed with a contractor and was working in West Ambler Johnston on the day of the offense.
Wooldrige was arrested by the Lynchburg Police Department on Oct. 21 on several counts of indecent exposure, trespassing, and breaking and entering around the Lynchburg area. Tech Police had the charges served to Wooldrige while he was in custody in Lynchburg.
Wooldrige currently remains in police custody in Lynchburg.

The types of things people do and are capable of never ceases to baffle me everyday. Wow, was he looking for attention. I find it hard to believe otherwise.

After the double shooting in 2007, where the heck is the supposed security that this above college age man can get inside without being challenged?
