Shane Adams, former president and CEO of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, was charged with seven counts of embezzlement Friday after an eight-month-long investigation that began over the summer.

Adams turned himself in and was released on a $2,000 unsecured bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Montgomery County Circuit Court on March 12.

Adams left the Chamber of Commerce in late June 2009 and has denied any wrongdoing.

I knew Shane while serving on the Board of Directors for the Chamber during his tenure. First of all, it was the responsibility of the Board to insure that all practices, financial in particular, would meet with public scrutiny and this is one method by which to clarify what occurred during Shane's administration. I am hopeful that he will be found innocent and that any inproprieties will be the result of ignorance and not intentional.

Most of those images you see on the Internet are usually fakes and you can't really trust them. To get rid of such confusion, a handy and useful tool called Photoshopped Image Killer will tell you whether an image has been edited by some software, or it's real. As indicated by it's name, the tool has best performance for Photoshop. However other image editors are covered as well.
