Fighting Gravity, the blacklight dance group made of Virginia Tech students who are all members of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, will head to the final round of competition in NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” this week.
The group has advanced through the competition since June and is now one of 10 acts competing in Las Vegas for the grand prize of $1 million.
Fighting Gravity began performing at AnchorSplash, a Greek life talent show, in spring 2009.
Group members have been unavailable for media interviews since the beginning of the television program because of the live nature of the show. Viewers vote at home to decide which acts advance through the rounds of competition.
New episodes of “America’s Got Talent” air on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 9 p.m.
T-shirts are available at Fighting Gravity’s website, FightinGravity.com.

I don't own a brainwash box so I didn't even know that a show called America's Got Talent existed. But my grandma kept bugging me about these dudes Fighting Gravity so I went online and watched their videos. I also watched the other acts to see what they are up against. Fighting Gravity is the most entertaining group. However, America is probably more into 10-year-olds that sing so that Evancho chick will win. Just look at the YouTube views on her videos compared to Fighting Gravity. Also check Google Trends. It's clear that America is gonna let the 10-year-old win. Should not be a surprise, though, because America is constantly making mistakes-- they put Bush Jr, I mean Obama into office.

It drives me crazy when idiots have to make EVERYTHING about politics.

It's called "America's Got Talent" not who you want to win.
Evancho is clearly the most talented person on the show and she deserves the win if she does. Sometimes the masses are wrong

She's too young to do a Las Vegas show every night ~ Hopefully, America will recognize this. She has a great future in front of her, thru the exposure from the show, and she'll do great things in her life. But, really, having a 10-yr old doing two Las Vegas shows a night - a bit much. Let her have some semblence of the "old-fashioned" growing up stage ~ instead of the glittering stage ~

Michael Grimm is also a talented singer. You can find many videos on YouTube of him singing at various casinos and clubs in Vegas, also opening for Heart. But doesn't he tell a sad story about his granny? Jackie is a very polished actress/singer. Prince Poppycock, although he has a fairly good voice, is just pure poppycock. Fighting Gravity is my favorite. I know the chicken catcher who won last year. He is getting $25,000 per year for 40 years, and started his own record label instead of selling his soul to AMG.

I wish they had come up with an original idea as well... like singing a song, or juggling stuff.
They're a black light dance troop - definitely not the first and definitely not the last. The difference is that they're doing it bigger and better than anyone else has before. Just like the singers who are belting out amazing notes, and the jugglers with their flaming swords. I can both juggle and sing, and I'm also older than them. Doesn't mean they're not original.
Keep up the good work Fighting Gravity!

Each digital image contains a grid of pixels that encodes information about color and lightness, collectively, the information in an image tends to form a distinctive statistical pattern. Photoshopped Image Killer have so far developed several algorithms that detect disruptions in that pattern, including those caused by differences in the resolution or graininess of separate original images.
