Hokie SPA is a feature specific to Tech that really helps students to be sure they are on the right track to graduation, that all of their financial information is correct, as well any grade information.

HOW TO DO COURSE REQUEST

Sign in to Hokie SPA

Choose “Registration and Schedule”

Click on “Course Request”

Add the CRNs of the classes you would like to request

Hit Submit or Update, whichever is
listed

You will be able to see the classes you have
requested

From there you can decide if you need to drop
 classes

HOW TO DO DROP/ADD

Sign in to Hokie SPA

Choose “Registration and Schedule”

Click on “Drop/Add”

Add the CRN numbers you would like

Click the dropdown box and select ‘Drop’ for the classes you would like to drop

Hit Submit

HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR SEMESTER GPA

Sign in to Hokie SPA

Choose “Grade Menu”

You will come to a screen where your current semester’s classes will be listed

Enter in your supposed grades for the semester, complete with ‘+’ and ‘- ’ to determine your final grades

Sign in to Hokie SPA

Choose “Registration and Schedule”

Scroll down on the page

Choose “Timetable of Classes”

Courses are listed in alphabetical and numerical order based on department and level of the class.  This will help during course
request.  

HOW TO SEE YOUR SCHEDULE

Sign in to Hokie SPA

Choose “Registration and Schedule”

Choose “Detail Schedule for Fall 2011” in the top right hand corner

This will show all of the classes you are currently enrolled in, along with the times, dates and professors.  

HOW TO CHECK YOUR GRADES

Sign in to Hokie SPA

Choose “Grades Menu”

You can then view your final grades, midterm grades, calculate your GPA and check your AP and transfer
credits.  

HOW TO CHECK GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Sign in to Hokie SPA

Choose “Degree Menu”

Choose “Undergraduate Student Degree Menu”

Choose “Degree Audit Report Menu”

Choose “Request a Degree Audit Report”

Select your degree program in the drop down menu

Then click “Run Audit”

This will show you what credits you have completed and what you still need to
complete.  

HOW TO CHANGE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Sign in to Hokie SPA

Choose “Personal Information”

Here you can change your password, addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts and edit confidentiality
information.
