BreakZONE gives students a chance to relax and take a break from the stresses of school.
Located across from the Au Bon Pain kiosk on the first floor of the Squires Student Center, BreakZONE brings students together by providing a fun atmosphere that’s very affordable.
The BreakZONE has pool and ping pong tables, arcade games, an 8-lane bowling alley, and a snack bar. There is even a Dance Dance Revolution machine.
Students can enjoy these amenities without breaking the bank. For only $1.50, students can enjoy a game of bowling. All activities are much less than a student would spend elsewhere, which is one of the main appeals of the BreakZONE.
The BreakZONE recently introduced its newest space, the EndZONE, which has two large flat-screen televisions and four game tables, which can convert for playing backgammon, chess, and checkers.
Students can rent the EndZONE for a party space for only $25 per hour. EndZONE will soon feature video games systems including Xbox 360 and Play Station 3.
If you are new to Tech, make sure to visit the BreakZONE and EndZONE. Have some fun, relax, and enjoy a fun time with your fellow Hokies.
