Judge Jim Gray, the Libertarian vice presidential nominee, spoke at Virginia Tech’s campus yesterday afternoon. The event was hosted by the Libertarians at Virginia Tech.
The room where Gray spoke was filled with flyers, posters and well-receptive students wearing t-shirts of Gary Johnson, the Libertarian presidential candidate.
The Libertarian Party believes the government’s role is small. It believes in free market solutions and champions civil liberties. One main tenant of the party is less intervention in foreign affairs.
“We can’t afford it,” Gray said.
