Virginia Tech classes are canceled for the remainder of the day. Because of the weather, Tech closed at 1:15 this afternoon and at 2:00 Blacksburg Transit will operate on a limited schedule and will stop all service at 5 p.m. Any university event scheduled this evening has also been canceled.
