For a new take on a popular drink, make it yourself, and make it your own. Leave the blender and brand mixer behind, and enjoy this crisp, festive drink as you like it. The fresh citrus used here can be any citrus fruit you prefer. A margarita could be all lime, grapefruit, orange or a mix of them all. To yield the right amount of juice for the recipe, buy at least two to three of each fruit. No matter where you are for break, you can toss the ingredients together and have a tropical drink to sip on and forget all the stress of school.
2 ounces fresh citrus
2 ounces fresh lime juice
2 ounces tequila (silver 100 percent agave)
