Forgetful students can breathe a little bit easier when it comes to parking this semester. Parking Services rolled out a new system for ordering passes online.
Previously, if a student ordered a permit online, they would either have to wait for it to be mailed, or fight the crowds in the parking services building.
Now, students that purchase parking permits online are given a link to a printable temporary 10-day pass while they wait for the real one to arrive in the mail.
The standard price for commuter and graduate permits this year is $115 per semester, or $230 for the whole year. Residential passes run $143 a semester and $284 for the year.
Alternatively, another new program being offered this year is the multi-day pass. This permit can be purchased if a student, faculty or staff member foresees a need to park on campus from 3-55 consecutive days at a price of $4 per day.
