After a week of dreary but warm conditions, cooler and sunnier weather arrives at the conclusion of Friday morning’s washout.
Heavy rain and gusty winds will continue early Friday morning, before coming to an end around mid-day. Highs are set to top out just below 70 with continuing showers Friday afternoon. The cold front responsible for the unsettled weather will push through during the day Friday, slowly drying us out and clearing the skies by Saturday morning.
High temperatures will be much cooler Saturday, only hitting 58 during the afternoon. Winds will remain moderate throughout the day, at times gusting to near 20 mph. Lows Saturday night will drop to 35.
The rest of the weekend looks even cooler and sunnier. Highs will settle in the low 50’s both Sunday and Monday as lows plummet to below freezing on both nights.
Wednesday marks the beginning of another warm-up, but it will come to an end quickly with another period of heavy rain toward the end of next week.
