Two men were detained Friday at the Montgomery County Sheriff's office after reportedly being apprehended while leaving the scene of a break-in. Deputy John Stull responded to a call regarding a break-in at Mabry's Grocery in Indian Valley. Jeffrey Bennett of Dublin, Va. and Jimmy Vaughn Jr. of Floyd, Va. were found leaving the scene.
Bennett was charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny, said Lieutenant Bradley St. Clair of the sheriff's office. Vaughn was charged with accessory to breaking and entering.
The breaking and entering was considered to be connected with a similar incident that occurred Thursday. Bennett was also charged with robbery for this incident.
