Virginia Tech has officially accepted an invitation to the Chick-fil-A Bowl against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Formerly the Peach Bowl, the Chick-fil-A Bowl looks for higher ratings and higher payouts, accepting the number one bowl-eligible ACC pick. The Chick-fil-A Bowl is the number one non-BCS attended bowl game.
Georgia, 8-4, is the Southeastern Conference fifth pick bowl-eligible team. After back to back upsets aganist Auburn (AP #5) and Georgia Tech (AP #16), Georgia looks to complete the season with a win in Atlanta.

"Virginia Tech and coach Beamer have done such a great job over the years... we know we're gonna have our hands more than full... I'm sure we're gonna be an underdog, " said Mark Richt head coach for the Georgia Bulldogs. "I know Virginia Tech travels very well, they've probably sold out every ticket they're allowed to buy."

The Collegiate Times predicts that Brandon Ore, the Hokies 1,095 yard rusher will be fully recovered for the bowl game.

The Chick-fil-A Bowl will broadcast at 8pm December 30th on ESPN. The Collegiate Times will provide in-depth coverage and analysis before and after the game at CollegiateTimes.com.
