ESPN's College GameDay crew has decided to return to Blacksburg for the football home opener against East Carolina. Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit will be coming to the Virginia Tech campus for the fourth time in their season debut. Most recently, GameDay covered two games in the 2005 season with a win against Georgia Tech and a loss against Miami.
GameDay first aired in 1987 and began to gain momentum when the show was taken to the road in 1993. Game picks, analysis, and, screaming fans have become a staple on Saturday mornings in the fall.
The show will air at 10:00 a.m. ET and will end at noon when the game begins on September 1, 2007.
