Construction
Multiple construction projects a planned and underway despite year-over-year budget cuts. At the beginning of the 2009 school year, the Board of Visitors approved plans for several new buildings, including a new human and agricultural bioscience building, a 160,000-gross-square-foot "signature engineering building” and a new building located between ICTAS I and Randolph Hall, which will contain classrooms and office space, in addition to an upscale dining facility. A parking garage for commuters is also under construction in the Prices Fork commuter lot.
Additional construction is ongoing, including renovations at East and West Ambler-Johnson Hall and additions to McComas Hall.
