The Virginia Tech basketball team rebounded from Saturday’s loss at Virginia to defeat Wake Forest 76-62. This game was a must-win for the Hokies (18-8, 8-5) as they continue their push for their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2007.

When the men’s basketball team’s starting five take the floor for the first time this season on Friday, it will be the same squad that opened the season a year ago. About mid-way through the first half however, the distinctions of the 2010-2011 team will begin to take shape as the new faces of the program are introduced to the Hokie faithful.
