Editorial: Democracy thrives when bipartisanship reigns supreme by CT Editorial Board Wednesday, October 8, 2008; 10:26 PM We're all familiar with the decline in favor that the word liberal has experienced over the last generation. It's a risky political move to endorse the term, or anything that it describes, and so many "actual" liberals in the public eye shy away from identifying themselves in this fashion.
