When men's tennis standout Nicolas Delgado de Robles was deciding which school to attend circa 2004, Virginia Tech was just another name in a big pool of options. Except with that name came a close tie for him. That tie was future teammate Albert Larregola.

Monday kicked off the annual Thompson Woods Tennis Camp for five- to seventeen-year-olds, with the first of three four-day sessions. Some youngsters have just begun learning the basics of tennis, while others strengthened their abilities and fine-tuned their skills.
Larregola knocked out in second round of championship

Virginia Tech senior Albert Larregola made it to the second round of the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Singles Championship last week before eventually falling to Denes Lukacs of Baylor.
