After a very summer-like weekend with hot and humid conditions, normal late spring weather returns for the beginning of the school week. After a morning with temperatures in the low 60s, temperatures on Monday will slowly rise under mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures are likely to reach the lower 70s. Showers and thunderstorms are likely due to an approaching cold front moving in from the west.
By Tuesday, the cold front has moved through our region bringing drier and cooler conditions. Morning lows will be in the mid- to lower 50s, then rise to the upper 60s by the afternoon. Winds will also be gusting to around 25 mph, so a light jacket may be necessary for Tuesday.
Wednesday looks to be a repeat of the conditions we see on Tuesday. Morning temperatures will start out in the low to mid-50s, rising to the upper 60s by the afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be lighter on Wednesday, but a light jacket may still be necessary for the morning hours. Rain chances increase again as early as Thursday and last into the weekend. Enjoy the clear and sunny weather while it lasts!
