The Blacksburg community has seen some warm temperatures over the past few days with mostly sunny skies. Expect temperatures to drastically drop by the end of the week as a strong cold front moves in.
On Monday, the high is forecasted to be in the mid-50s and low in the upper 30s with mostly sunny skies throughout the day. Tuesday’s forecast calls for an 80 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day and night with the high temperature in the mid-50s and a low in the mid-30s.
The precipitation should leave the area by Wednesday as partly sunny skies emerge by the end of the day. The high for the day is forecasted to be in the lower 40s and the low in the mid-20s.
Continuing into the week, the temperatures are forecasted to drop. We can expect mostly sunny skies with the highs in the low 40s and lows in the low 20s.
