Warm weather

The sun shines on Burruss Hall on March 29, 2017.

Blacksburg had decent weather last week with temperatures in the upper 70s and some precipitation occurring. The previous week's rainfall trend will come to a halt as there is only a 10 percent chance of rain occurring throughout this upcoming week. A small umbrella could come in handy for the week just in case. The temperatures this week will start off cool and warm up closer to the weekend, bringing clear skies and some very light wind.

Bring out the hoodies and jackets because Monday will bring colder temperatures in the upper 50s and a low in the mid-30s with mostly sunny skies. Tuesday and Wednesday will warm up a bit with highs in the mid to upper 60s as the lows remain in the 30s with some patchy frost in the morning.

Beginning Thursday, the hoodies can be left at home with a high in the low 70s and a low in the low 40s. Looking into the weekend, expect warmer weather with highs in the mid to upper 70s and lows in the mid-40s.
