We have seen beautiful, sunny weather the past couple of days and the forecast shows that it will likely continue throughout the rest of the week.
On Thursday, there will be a few areas with patchy fog before 9 a.m., but will otherwise be mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s. Thursday night will be partly cloudy in the mid-40s. For everyone staying here in Blacksburg for fall break, we expect to have comfortable autumn temperatures with a small chance of rain on Saturday.
Friday will be a beautiful, sunny day in the mid-60s with some patchy fog before 9 a.m. Overnight, the lows will drop down in the mid-40s with mostly cloudy skies. On Saturday, it will be partly cloudy and the highs in the mid-60s with a 30 percent chance of showers just before 2 p.m. On Saturday night, the low is expected to reach the upper 40s with partly cloudy skies. On Sunday, the highs are expected to reach the lower 70s by the afternoon and to drop down into the low 50s overnight with mostly cloudy skies.
Looking forward into the next week, we should expect the sunny skies and highs in the 60s and low 70s to continue.
