After a couple of days of warm, wet weather here in Blacksburg, the temperatures will drop and bring clear skies as a low-pressure system comes through. A jacket will be needed throughout the rest of the week, especially during the morning hours.
After the front passes through on Wednesday, it will bring mostly sunny skies for Thursday with breezy conditions. Expect the high to reach in the low 50s, while the low for Thursday night will be in the low 30s with partly cloudy skies. Expect Friday to also be a gorgeous day with mostly sunny skies and a high around the mid-40s for most of the day. That night, there will be mostly cloudy skies with the low reaching the upper 20s.
Saturday will bring the same temperatures as Friday, with highs in the mid-40s and the low in the mid-30s with sunny skies during the day and mostly cloudy skies that night. Sunday will bring a 50 percent chance of precipitation with cloudy skies and highs reaching in the mid-40s. Sunday night, there will also be about a 50 percent chance of showers, with the low in the mid-30s. Looking forward into next week, we should expect highs in the 40s with lows in the 30s.
